09 Dic Jolly: Executives find dealing with Millennials ‘stressful’
A friction between working styles means senior executives find working with Millennials stressful, according to London Business School adjunct professor of organisational behaviour Richard Jolly. Jolly told HR magazine the generation currently in senior executive roles – typically Baby Boomers or Gen X – are used to having more control in their relationships than they are afforded when dealing with the youngest employees. «And those Millennials come along and say they want to have conversations and be more collaborative rather than be controlled from the top.»
